Forte Artisan Chocolates are as delicious as they are delicate. To ensure that your order arrives at the peak of freshness and in the best condition possible, we hand-pack all orders and ship via UPS or FedEx. We know that there are less expensive ways to ship our product, but our first priority is that your chocolates arrive in as perfect condition as when they were packaged. Keep in mind that we encourage pre-orders, as all of our products are hand-crafted by artisan Chocolatiers and therefore limited to maintain the highest quality standards. For holiday and other advance orders, please indicate the desired arrival date in the special instructions field. Your card will not be charged until your order is shipped.

Cool Weather Season (October 15th thru April 14th)
Standard shipping is 2 or 3 day air. In-transit time is limited to three days maximum so that your order will remain fresh for your enjoyment. We reserve the right to upgrade shipping services to Standard Overnight whenever the destination temperature is to be above 75°F to avoid spoilage from the heat.

Warm Weather Season (April 15th thru October 15th)
To limit transit time and product spoilage during the Warm Weather Season and to destinations above 75°F, we ship most packages Standard Overnight Monday thru Wednesday. A flat $5.00 surcharge will be placed on all temperature sensitive deliveries for ice packs and other insulation materials used to ensure that your order arrives in excellent condition. We will send a shipping tracking number to you when your order ships. Please make an effort to notify the recipient that a heat-sensitive gift is on its way so the package is not left in warm weather conditions.

UPS and FedEx have permission to leave packages at the recipient address if no one is there to sign for it. Forte Chocolates is NOT responsible for packages stolen or damaged after they are delivered to the address specified by you. Please double check shipping addresses before submitting your order. Forte Chocolates is not responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided. While we and our shipping partners will make every effort to deliver your order on the chosen date, desired delivery dates are not guaranteed due to weather and other circumstances beyond our control.
