A taste of what you will experience… The NW Chocolate Festival will be two days of pure chocolate decadence. You'll taste chocolate from the finest artisan chocolate makers and confectioners who travel to Seattle from across the US and abroad. Included in your admission are 70+ workshops and demonstrations led by top culinary professionals and the award winning artisan makers/chocolatiers you're tasting. We aim to share experiences in chocolate from farm, to bean, to bar, and beyond.

Festival guests will experience...

  • Tastes of the finest chocolate and confections from around the world, including limited edition chocolates you can't get in stores and bars made exclusively for the festival. Guests have the opportunity to purchase what they taste to take home to family and friends or to savor later for themselves.
  • Seminars: Award-winning chocolate makers and industry experts share their knowledge on chocolate, their craft, farming methods, and discuss current events/burning issues within the chocolate industry. See last year's schedule.
  • Culinary Demonstrations: Learn how to temper chocolate, make truffles, ganaches, and fine pastry desserts.
  • Tastings to learn how to distinguish fine chocolate from different origins around the world.
  • See a fresh cacao pod cracked and taste the fruit that surrounds the seed, a rare experience in the United States.
  • Demonstrations of the crushing of cacao beans by hand using traditional tools.
  • Kids Zone with fun activities for kids.
